FASTSIGNS International, Inc., franchisor of FASTSIGNS®, the leading sign, graphics and visual communications franchise, announced today that it is attending and sponsoring the International Franchise Expo from June 15-17 at The Javits Center in New York City. The company is recruiting franchisees for expansion throughout the U.S. and Canada, particularly in the Northeast, including in the New York City metro area and Long Island. The brand also is seeking international partners worldwide to be master franchisees.
“FASTSIGNS offers franchise opportunities that allow business owners to join the #1 ranked sign franchise in the industry — which comes with immediate brand recognition and world-class support from an international franchisor,” said Mark Jameson, EVP of Franchise Support and Development, FASTSIGNS International, Inc. “We’re looking forward to exhibiting at the International Franchise Expo and networking with potential franchisees interested in partnering with us domestically or abroad.”
Entrepreneurs are invited to meet with FASTSIGNS International, Inc., CEO Catherine Monson and the brand’s franchise development team at booth #214 to discuss franchise opportunities. On the heels of an extremely successful 2016, fueled in part by the ongoing worldwide need for visual communications and digital signage technology, the company expects to open a projected 45+ locations in 2017.
FASTSIGNS franchisee Denise Acquaye will celebrate her fifth anniversary this year and she calls the decision to join the brand “monumental.” She will share her experience during a panel on Saturday, June 17.
“After 40 combined years in corporate America, my husband and I wanted to follow our hearts and become entrepreneurs. We knew franchising was the right path because it would provide us with a proven business model to be successful,” said Acquaye, who owns and operates a FASTSIGNS location in downtown Newark, New Jersey. “We looked at a lot of different concepts, from fast food to retail, but realized that with FASTSIGNS, we didn’t have to retool ourselves. Our professional backgrounds segued perfectly into owning this business. But the reason we picked FASTSIGNS is because of its strong commitment to supporting franchisees. Without any company-owned centers, FASTSIGNS’ success is entirely driven by its franchisees — so the corporate team allocates an enormous amount of resources to support.”
During the International Franchise Expo, FASTSIGNS will showcase digital signage that will serve as an alternative to traditional video walls made up of multiple flat panel displays. The new LED is brighter, seamless, and easy to install.
Additionally, author Dean Lindsay will sign complimentary copies of his book, “How to Achieve Big PHAT Goals,” at FASTSIGNS’ booth from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 2 – 4 p.m. on Friday, June 16, and on Saturday, June 17, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 – 2:30 p.m. (Limited quantities available.)
A huge fan of Lindsay’s proven method for goal setting, Monson penned a testimonial that is featured on the book’s back cover.
“As someone who has been dedicated to setting and achieving personal and team goals for the past 30 years, Big PHAT Goals took my understanding to the next level,” Monson wrote. “I rewrote my goals within days of reading the book, following Dean’s formula, and I am already experiencing even greater progress! This is a must read for you, as well as those you lead… and those you love!”
