Customizing Outdoor Ads

OBIE Award winners in the Custom Installation category turn to nontraditional billboards and graphics.

Billboards are likely what comes to mind when one thinks of out-of-home (OOH) advertising. Winners of the 2018 OAAA OBIE Awards Custom Installation category paid homage to the long-established OOH application, but with a twist. Award-winning campaigns utilized backlit signage, 3D printed elements, routed pop-up graphics, and more.
