Epson Debuts SureColor T-Series Wide-Format Line

Epson America has announced a new series of wide-format color printers designed for scalable applications from CAD drawings and GIS maps to corporate graphics and retail posters. The SureColor T-Series, which comprises the Epson Sure Color T3270, T5270, T7270, T5270D, and T7270D, is available in single- and dual-roll models and offers a max. resolution of 2880 x 1440 dpi.

The printers feature variable-size ink droplet technology, as well as the company’s PrecisionCore TFP print head and UltraChrome XD pigment ink in five hues – CMYK with both Photo and Matte Black.

Available in 24-, 36-, and 44-in. single-roll models and 36- or 44-in. dual-roll machines. Corresponding print speeds range from 660 to 780 sq ft/hr. Optional features include multifunction modules (all models except the 24-in.); an internal, 320GB print server; and the True Adobe Postscript 3 hardware engine.

T-Series printers support a wide range of roll or cut-sheet media up to 1.5 mm thick.
